Current owner, Lance Hughes, purchased Hamilton Asphalts Ltd with a vision to drastically change operations.
Owner-operated, under the leadership and guidance of Lance Hughes, Hamilton Asphalts began to specialise in driveways and pothole repair work.
This decade was a time of rapid growth for the team at Hamilton Asphalts. The business expanded to include excavation, kerbing, the purchasing of large pavers for commercial applications, subdivisions and commercial earthworks.
Building on its expertise in design and application, Hamilton Asphalts looked at the bigger picture, expanding its operations and began to manufacture its own asphalt.
Business success built on strong customer relationships saw Hamilton Asphalts develop into a “one-stop-shop”, not only in asphalt, but all civil construction.
In August 2020, Lance Hughes celebrated 20 years of owning Hamilton Asphalts.
